What is Poly.fan?
Poly.fan is a prediction market platform for private groups. Create markets about any topic, trade with virtual points, and compete on leaderboards with your friends, colleagues, or community members.
Is real money involved?
No. All trading on Poly.fan uses virtual points that have no real-world monetary value. Points cannot be purchased, sold, or exchanged for real money.
How do I create a group?
After signing in, tap "Create Group" from the home screen. Give your group a name, optionally add a description, and you're ready to go. Share the invite link with friends to get them to join.
How do I create a market?
Inside a group, tap the "+" button or "Create Market." Enter your question, add the possible outcomes (Yes/No or multiple options), set a closing date, and publish. Group members can start trading immediately.
How do markets get resolved?
Group admins can resolve markets once the outcome is known. When a market is resolved, points are distributed to traders who predicted correctly based on their positions.
How do virtual points work?
Every member starts with 1,000 virtual points. Use these to trade on markets — buy shares in outcomes you think are likely, sell shares when you change your mind. Your point balance reflects your prediction accuracy over time.
Can I join multiple groups?
Yes! You can be a member of as many groups as you like. Each group has its own markets, leaderboard, and point balance.
How do I enable notifications?
Go to your account settings and enable push notifications. You'll receive alerts for new markets, market resolutions, and other important activity in your groups.
How do I connect Discord?
Group admins can connect a Discord server from the group settings. Once connected, the bot will post updates about new markets and resolutions to your chosen channel.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account Settings and scroll to the bottom. Tap "Delete Account" and confirm. This will permanently remove your account and personal data. Your historical predictions in groups will be anonymized.

Report Inappropriate Content
If you encounter a market or user that violates our Terms of Service, please report it to support@poly.fan. Include the group name, market title, and a description of the issue. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
